Yuri Alpuche grew up in Belize City where she attended primary, secondary and junior college. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in BA (Hons) Business Management from Anglia Ruskin University International Business School in the United Kingdom and her Master’s Degree (MPM) in Project Management at Universidad para la Cooperacion International- Global School of Project Management, UCI, Costa Rica. Yuri worked in the Energy Sector for 6 years where she obtained key skills and knowledge such as research, business development, communication, conflict management and drafting of manuals and standard operating procedures. Yuri is a certified Green Project Manager (GPM-b) and is passionate about sustainable development in the public and private sector. Yuri currently works for the Government of Belize as the Project Coordinator for the Public Private Desk where her core responsibilities include project monitoring, stakeholder engagement, resource optimization and risk management. Her areas of interest include sustainable development, green industrialization, and creating innovative and child friendly spaces for communities.
