Carmen Sosa grew up in the Cayo District where she attended primary, secondary and junior college. She obtained her degree in Business Management from University in the United Kingdom and her Master’s Degree. Carmen has worked in the Public Sector for many years where she obtained key skills and knowledge such as research, business development and communication. She is passionate about economic development in the public and private sector. Carmen currently works for the Government of Belize as the Project Coordinator for the Public Private Desk where her core responsibilities include project monitoring, stakeholder engagement, resource optimization and risk management. Her areas of interest include implementing innovative and progressive interventions for communities.
